Grampian Inclusive Cycling Bothies
Overview
Grampian Inclusive Cycling Bothies (GICB) is a project between Sport Aberdeen and Grampian Disability Sport to make cycling more accessible in Grampian. The project is funded by NESTRANS. We currently have cycling bothies in Aberdeen, Peterhead, Ballater and Banff, where we run regular sessions using adapted bikes. We are also developing a new hub in Banchory. Check out our Facebook page for session details and exciting new bothy developments around Grampian. Improving access to cycling will promote all the health, wellbeing and environmental benefits of cycling to more people across each community. By having adapted bikes stored at Bothies throughout Grampian, access to adapted bikes will be closer to the people within each community who need to use them.
