Functional Fitness for Seniors is about exercising to improve your ‘function’ - the things you need to do in day to day life. The class focuses on those 'Fundamental' movements that we all need to make the most of our lives, both now and in the future. It is about undertaking exercises that support you in every day movements taking a whole body approach. *Strength, *Balance, *Endurance, * Agility *Co-ordination This class is fun and friendly too!
Would you like to have fun whilst getting the whole of your body moving to music? If so, come and try out one of my classes! My friendly exercise sessions are designed to help improve mobility, balance, strength, and wellbeing in a relaxed and supportive environment. All of my classes include strength work with a resistance band, strength and balance exercises as well as some sit to stands.
Falls are not an inevitable part of getting older and the good news is, falls can often be prevented. Steady and Strong classes for older adults have been developed by experts to increase your strength and balance, helping you to stay stronger for longer and able to keep doing the things you love. You will do a mix of seated and standing exercises, with chair support for those who need it.

A Low Impact circuit class aimed for residents who are inactive and at risk of cardiovascular diseases and mild to moderate mental health conditions. Please note all participants looking to take part must book a consultation to see the Get Active Specialist first. This consultation will run through the essential inclusion criteria to determine eligibility. Participants will receive 6 weeks free of exercise classes and then £5.00 per person
Our shortest walk, 20-30 minutes, flat and even ground, gentle pace, no stiles, regular stopping places. Children are welcome, however under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult and must also be registered as a health walker.
