Kings Hill to Mereworth Woods Walk

Join us for a beautiful countryside walk from Kings Hill to Mereworth Woods, following part of the historic Lord’s Walk along the way. This 8.9-mile route takes us away from the bustle of everyday life and into some of the quieter countryside around the Medway Valley. Expect woodland paths, open fields, country lanes and peaceful rural scenery as we make our way through this attractive part of Kent. The walk has a lovely mix of landscapes, with Mereworth Woods providing a particularly peaceful section of the route. Following part of Lord’s Walk also adds a little local history to the day, as these historic routes are closely connected with the old estates and countryside around Mereworth. With plenty of fresh air, beautiful scenery and good company, this is a great opportunity to discover a lesser-known corner of Kent on foot.
