Valley Park Circular Walk - 4.5 miles (Gear 1 to 2)

Overview

A varied walk taking in some of the woodlands in and around Valley Park.  Despite being on the borders of the housing estate, for much of the walk we feel deep in the countryside! Discover the borders of the Valley Park, with its woods and rural views, the traditional english woodlands right in the middle of it, and the streams and tributaries of the Monk's Brook.   This is a reasonably flat route, although there are a mix of terrains - trails, gravel paths, some shared foot/cycle paths and some residential roads.   Please bring paws so we can be considerate to residents and other path users when walking on tarmac. Toilet facilities are available at the Cleveland Bay pub (Opens at 12 noon), where we can have refreshments/lunch after the walk.
